General
The company SAFETY Training Plus GmbH operates exclusively based on these general terms and conditions. These are an essential part of every contract concluded by SAFETY Training Plus GmbH, even if they are not expressly agreed upon again. Amendments and/or additions require written confirmation from SAFETY Training Plus GmbH to be valid.

Registrations / Number of Participants
Course registrations are only possible via our website, in exceptional cases via email. Verbal registrations are not binding. By registering, the participant accepts the general terms and conditions of SAFETY Training Plus GmbH. For educational reasons, the number of participants is limited to 16. Exceptions cannot always be avoided and do not entitle participants to a discount. Registrations are processed in the order they are received. If a registration cannot be confirmed for the desired course, the participant will be informed as soon as possible and, if available, offered an alternative date.Course Confirmation / Invoicing
After receiving the registration, a course confirmation will be sent. Approximately three weeks before the course begins, the participant will receive detailed course materials and the invoice. Course and accommodation costs are invoiced separately and exclusively by SAFETY Training Plus GmbH.Prices / Services
The prices stated in the course confirmation or on the invoice apply. Unless otherwise specified, the course fee includes:- Participation in the course and, depending on the course, the services described in the course confirmation.
- The accommodation package (single room including breakfast, lunch, and dinner) or the day guest package (conference beverages, lunch, and coffee break – without accommodation) will be invoiced together with the course fee.
- For all participants attending the course as day guests, a daily guest fee will be charged per day. A day guest is someone who has not booked a hotel stay (full board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for the duration of the training. The daily guest fee includes conference beverages, lunch, and morning and afternoon coffee breaks.
Booking Changes
If a participant is unable to attend the booked course, they are entitled to reschedule to a later course date in coordination with SAFETY Training Plus GmbH, provided this is done at least 14 days before the course begins. Any course fees already paid will be credited.If a booking change to a later course is made less than 14 days before the course begins, SAFETY Training Plus GmbH will charge a rebooking fee of €200 / CHF 200 in addition to the course fees.
Cancellation (Withdrawal)
Withdrawal from a booked course must be made in writing. A substitute participant can be nominated.- Withdrawal up to the 30th day before the course begins is free of charge.
- For withdrawals between the 30th and the 14th day before the course begins, 50% of the course costs are due.
- For withdrawals after the 14th day before the course begins, we charge a 100% cancellation fee.
- In case of withdrawal during the course, the full course fee must be paid. In such cases, SAFETY Training Plus GmbH also reserves the right to refuse to issue a training certificate or a recognized qualification certificate at its discretion.
For hotel reservation cancellations, the costs will be passed on to the participant according to the cancellation conditions of the respective hotels.
Changes / Cancellations by SAFETY Training Plus GmbH
- Changes: A change of instructors, seminar building, or schedule adjustments do not entitle the participant to withdraw or to a fee reduction, provided that the course content is not significantly affected and the seminar building is within a reasonable distance.
- Cancellations: SAFETY Training Plus GmbH reserves the right to cancel courses and events if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if instructors are unexpectedly unable to attend. In such cases, an alternative date will be proposed. If no agreement is reached on the alternative date, any fees already paid will be fully refunded immediately. Further claims are excluded.
In-House Training
Pricing
We are happy to provide you with an offer. After written acceptance of our offer, we tailor the in-house training specifically to your needs and align the content with the tasks of your employees. Each participant receives a course folder with training materials to keep. By agreement and according to our offer, these training materials will be invoiced. The statutory regulations will be provided to each participant for the duration of the training on a loan basis and free of charge.Travel, Accommodation, and Shipping Costs
Travel costs are charged independently of the actual mode of transportation, covering round-trip travel between our business location and your designated training location. Any incurred accommodation costs as well as potential shipping costs for the training materials will be forwarded to you based on receipts, without any surcharge.Training Room, Media, and Equipment
Since the training is conducted at your location, the following requirements should be met:Flipchart board with sufficient paper
2 pinboards (Metaplan boards) covered with paper
Internally, if possible, UN-coded packaging material and dangerous goods documents (e.g., work instructions, checklists, transport documents, etc.)
Cancellation of In-House Training by Us
If we are unable to conduct the training due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances, we will first attempt to arrange a replacement date with you or provide a qualified substitute trainer. If no new date can be agreed upon or no substitute trainer is available, we waive our right to compensation.Cancellation by You
The cancellation of a booked course must be made in writing. Please note the following deadlines:- Cancellation up to the 30th day before the course begins is free of charge.
- For cancellations between the 30th and the 14th day before the course begins, 50% of the base fee is due.
- For cancellations after the 14th day before the course begins, we charge 100% of the base fee.
Booked accommodations, flights, and rental cars that cannot be canceled free of charge will be charged at 100%, regardless of the cancellation date.
SAFETY Online Training
License
Each license is tied to a specific user. The use of online training for instructing third parties, such as in the context of training, teaching, or instruction, is not permitted and constitutes a license violation. The purchase of additional user licenses is possible at any time.Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without providing any reasons. However, if you log in to the online training platform for the first time before the withdrawal period expires, the execution of the contract begins. Once execution has started, the right of withdrawal expires.Legal Validity
All online training courses are developed and structured according to the applicable international legal regulations for the respective course. Upon course completion, certificates will be issued in accordance with the respective dangerous goods regulations. In some countries, online training (e-learning) may not be sufficient due to national regulations. It is the customer’s responsibility to clarify this with the respective national authority.Contract Conclusion
A binding contract is concluded in our online shop when you click on “Order Now with Obligation to Pay.” If purchasing on account, access to the online training will be granted upon receipt of payment or proof of payment. If purchasing via PayPal, credit card, or direct debit, access will be granted on the same day as the order. For these latter payment methods, you can cancel the order during the payment process, in which case the order will be automatically canceled without any costs for you.Function external dangerous goods safety advisor
The function of external dangerous goods safety advisor is based on the individually agreed contract design with the appointment as external dangerous goods safety advisor.
Book order
Orders for technical books are forwarded by SAFETY Training Plus GmbH to Verkehrs-Verlag J. Fischer GmbH & Co. KG, Düsseldorf. The prices quoted are net prices to which the statutory value added tax will be added. Plus shipping costs, depending on weight.
Disclaimer
SAFETY Training Plus GmbH is liable for damages during the course – regardless of the legal reason – only insofar as it is charged with intent or gross negligence. In case of loss, damage or theft of objects or vehicles brought along by the participants, liability remains excluded. SAFETY Training Plus GmbH assumes no liability for subsequent damage allegedly incurred in the course of implementing the course content imparted.
Data protection / copyright training documents
Data protection
The participant and his/her employer agree that their data may be recorded and processed by SAFETY Training. SAFETY Training guarantees that this data will be used exclusively for internal purposes (preparation of course documents, training certificates, etc.) and will not be passed on to third parties. The course participant undertakes to respect the copyright of all course materials provided and handed out by SAFETY Training. The training materials serve as an aid and support for the training. Reproduction and/or further use of the contents beyond personal use is not permitted.Place of jurisdiction

Test for dangerous goods safety advisor according to GGBV (SR 741.622)
Admission
All holders of a valid training certificate according to Art. 17 GGBV are admitted to the GGBV examination, regardless of the training institution. (This certificate will be given after the GGBV training has been completed, provided that all teaching units have been attended). In addition, candidates must identify themselves with an identification document at the beginning of the examination.Registration
Registration is done by paying the examination fee. Payment must be received before the examination date. The examination fee can be refunded if participation in the examination is not possible for a reason for which the candidate is not responsible.Examination result
The exam result (with the training certificate, if any) will be sent to the examinees no later than 30 days after the exam.SAFETY Online Training
