IMDG Code Dangerous Goods by Sea

Description

If dangerous goods are to be transported from A to B on seagoing vessels, the regulations for maritime transport must be followed. The IMDG Code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code) is the internationally valid binding convention for maritime shipping. This code contains all the information necessary for the legally compliant transport of dangerous goods by sea, such as the correct marking and labelling of packed cargo or the completion of an IMO declaration.

After you have worked through all modules and exercises, you will receive a certificate according to chapter 1.3 IMDG Code.

Validity

The content of this online training corresponds to the actuality of the IMDG – Code, Amdt. 42-24. This certificate can be provided to the competent authority upon request. Please note that regular refresher courses are necessary in case of changes in the regulations. We recommend to repeat the course every 2 years.
